hello, im looking into hanginging a hammok from my boom and main mast.
anyone else thought of such a thing?my 2 favorite things ds and hammok!
its a small amazonia hammok and i weigh 200lbs.any ideas?im thinking of building a supersize boom "holder upper" and tying up to above the spreader.any help i can give any ds 1 owners lemme know.i bought mine used out of a guys yard.it was sitting there when he bought the house.and he dint know what he had.no side stays so i made some.one windy day and my port stay let go at the chain plate.boom,crash! :shock:

For what it is worth, I think a hammock is a good thing under two stout shade trees, and a bad Idea on a Daysailer. you might break the boom, the chain plates, the mast and probably your neck.
Race your Daysailer, sleep under a tree! :roll:
