Am thinking of getting a Dwyer boom for the DS1. Can anyone vouch for their quality?

Dwyer's been around forever. You should have no problem.

Dwyer is a major manufacturer/supplier of masts, booms, and other sailing products. I personally have purchased 2 masts and 1 boom from them for two larger sail boats that I have owned. I was totally satisfied with the quality. Brad

Both my Precision sailboats came with Dwyer mast/boom. I've also ordered parts from them in the past, no problems.
