Photo log

What I would love to see on this website is a photo log of the Daysailer over the course of time. There have been both major and minor design changes to these boats over the years, starting with the O'Days and right up to today.

If you had pictures of the hull, deck, inside and riging for every 5 years or every design change year, listing the hull and/or sail number (where available), we could better determine age of many older boats.

Not to mention that we'd all enjoy seeing the pictures.

Is this a dumb idea, or would other folks like it? What do you think?

Good idea. For apples to apples comparisons should probably have uniform pics submitted: hull (side, front, back) , cockpit, rigging, etc.

I know most of the saysailers have been modified over the years but the ones that haven't could be used to show when they abandoned the upper stays, went to tapered masts and obviously when it changed manufacturers there's greater changes. As a start I have a stock 63 that I can set up and take whatever pics desired.

What do others think?

It could be a good winter project. And I'd bet that many of the boat picutres are already on the site, just not identified by boat year.

What would it take to take to have a section on the website for a photo history of the Daysailer?
