Hi --

I'm getting my late father's DS I into the water this year but find it was never registered. The CT
form I'm looking at wants to know the year. I don't have any bill of sale or history for this boat, but
I see Hull Number 10906 and Class Number 1912 on the bulkhead plate. I see references to a spreadsheet
here that would help me get a close guess at the boat's year, but I can't find the spreadsheet. Maybe I
don't need it if the forum is active!

Thanks,

steve

Welcome to the forum Steve!

The spreadsheet is here:

Might have to go back a page or two to see it, but should get you in the ballpark ...

That's the link to the thread with the "unofficial" DS hull number list; there's also an actual spreadsheet for DS1 design changes. Both allow you to triangulate the year, but with an actual hull number, the former is all you need. Looks like you have a '65.

I'm also new to the forum and I just came home with a DS last week.
I'm a bit confused by the numbers I found on the speadsheet. My boat has hull number 21569 and class number 3391. It's built by O'Day, but I can't determine from the spreadsheet what year it is.
The weather is miserable up here today so I'm not going to be able to provide much more detail.
If you can't tie good knots, tie lots of them.

Because #3395 is a '68, yours would be a '68 as well.

If you are interested you, might add a post at the link given by Tim to add your info.
