Boat is Hull no. 24006 and Class no. 4454. My guess is that it is a 1972 boat. Can anyone tell me?

My old O'Day Widgeon was O'Day Hull # 22698 and was to the best of my knowledge a 1969 model. The Hull # on your boat refers to total production of O'Day sailboats, all models, Class# is the number of Day Sailers. So, you can use the hull#s of all O'Days to find the year of your boat, or the Class#s of Day Sailers (no difference DS I or II). After November 1, 1972, O'Day used the 12-digit HIN.
