Last summer I bought a 1970 DS I and had a great time with it. I didn't have much to do or think about. I had never been sailing before so everything was sorta off the cuff... this year things are a little different, I learned about water freezing in the bottom of the boat, I noticed my mast has a big bow to it and everything I've heard tells me I'm lucky I didn't snap the mast off the first day I was out so basically I'm hoping there's an experienced daysailer owner around that wouldn't mind an afternoon teaching me more about this boat, if anyone is around erie county PA or near philly please email me eup_runner@yahoo.com
