REFINSIHING THE BOTTOM

Postby Don Andersen » Mon Dec 27, 2004 8:57 pm

I RECENTLY BOUGHT AN OLD DS (CAN'T FIND A SERIAL NUMBER) THAT I WANT TO REFINSIH THE BOTTOM. SO FAR I HAVE SANDED OFF ALL OF THE CRACKED WHITE GEL COAT DOWN TO A BLUE COATING OF SOMETHING ON TOP OF THE FIBERGLASS.
ANY ONE KNOW WHAT THE BLUE STUFF IS?
I NEED IDEAS FOR WHAT TYPE OF FINISH TO PUT ON THE BOTTOM AND SIDES.

You should do a search on "paint" on this site. Of these discussions, I think you'll find the following useful:

Have a great time with your hull!
