centerboard cables

Does anyone have any experience with "mule tape"? I aquired a long length of it from a fellow scout dad, and i was wondering if it could be used to replace the centerboard cables. It is supposed to be really strong.

So it dosen't look like anyone is replying to this one. So describe mule tape, perhaps other know it as something different. How is it used, and where typically?

mule tape

What i have is "bull-line" "WP10" made by Arnco. "mule tape" is branded by another company. It is used to pull cable and electrical wires thru conduit. The rope/tape is blown in somehow. It is light weight, slick and strong. According to the website. my sample has a tensile strength of 1000 lbs.
It is a lubricated, woven, poly webbing. I was thinking of twisting or braiding some into a three strand rope to replace the CB cables.
