Bungee net

Postby kokko » Wed Jun 25, 2008 12:13 pm

Since my DSI has an open cuddy, I had been puzzling over how to keep gear secure and accessible. I bought one of those bungee cago nets and stretched it forward of the mast. At the top I clipped the net to each shelf cuddy. Then I took a length of pvc pipe and bent it to follow the contour of the lower hull. THen ends of th epipe were secured to the forward edges of the shelves, and the midpoint of the pipe was zip-tied to the foot of the mast. Then the net was clipped to the pipe.

I can toss lots of gear into the net and it keeps it secure

Nice idea. Sounds pretty functional. Brad
