I just want to put in a good word for a tech support person at the Forespar company. Forespar makes tiller extensions, fairly spendy ones. In a sloppy tack on the last trip of the season, I jerked the tiller over, jammed the extension against the floor, and broke the swivel attachment. I found the replacement part online, and discovered it cost more than $50. Sigh. A boat is a hole in the water into which you pour money, etc. Before ordering, I sent an email to Forespar for advice on installing it. They sent the instructions. And the part. No charge. This is how you build brand loyalty.
