Hull colors

Postby Guest » Mon Sep 18, 2000 6:00 am

My DSI is in need of painting and I'm considering changing the color scheme from the original white hull with black waterline stripe and blue deck and seats to something else. I'm wondering if any one has seen any cool color combinations or any good ideas on updating this boat. Thanks

Rex,
It would be helpful to know what type of paint you will be using. I used Petit Easypoxy. They make really nice colors. I used grand Banks Beige for the hull and Burgundy for the topsides. She looks great, you can see her at http://www.internetboats.com/boatfiles/11794.html

They also make a green that is beautiful as well. I did not include a boot stripe. Also, make sure you use the primer!
