A friend suggested that my DS I doesn't point as well as it should based on experience with other similar boats. He thought the center board was swinging up some due to the water pressure, so we tipped the boat on its side and the board does appear to flop around more than it should. I seem to recall reading a post here that describes the mechanism and gives advice on repair/maintenance, but I cannot find it now.

Can anyone point towrd instructions for removal, repair and reinstallation?
