I like to position myself outboard of the mainsheet which made the jib sheet cleats on the centerboard just out of reach. And I needed to mount some cleats for the DRS sheets. So I designed this table that straddles the centerboard box. It came out real sturdy: The legs are a very good fit to the CB box and I layed in a bead of 3M 5200 on the contact surfaces, plus screwing it into the deck. I've got pouches that attach to the table sides to hold the sheets, on the sewing to do list. I put the compass on the table too, and it's a good spot for it if you use the lubber lines. I'm not sure how to remove the old cleat wedges, their stuck on pretty good and I don't want destroy the glass underneath!
