The ports are in!
Got my long awaited inspection ports from APS (Annapolis Performance Sailing) P/N R4040R 4" Inspection ports $11.81 each.
The easiest project I've done in a long time. Unscrew the old, scrap a little, caulk a little, drop 'em in and screw 'em down - done. They fit the hole and the screw pattern perfectly.
Can't wait for my sail tomorrow!

Ouch...

We had the KALEIGH B out last week up in New Hampshire on Lake Winnisquam. My crew "The Dude" stepped off the cuddy, to the seat and down to the floor right on the inspection port. Dudes not a big guy but hit it just right and broke it. I called the company we got it at and they helped out, 15% off and free shipping. I bought 2 white ones this time. Now I will have a clear spare cover.

15% is better than nothing.
