Carrying the mast and boom

I just added my solution for carrying the mast and boom on the 1984 DS2 I just bought to my gallery. I'd love to see other solutions as well.

Impressive! My solution was not quite as elegant, and did not work so well ...

Thanks Tim! It was really quite simple to make and the material is PVC so no maint, yay. One 1x8x8' "board" from Home Depot did the trick. I'd be happy to answer any questions.

This what my current mast support looks like.
The front of the boom is supported by the mast tabernacle.
