New cuddy U trim on DSII - wish I did it earlier

Postby klb67 » Thu May 01, 2014 9:31 am

I'm finishing up a lot of little projects on the boat before I take it to the lake this weekend. Last year I ordered a bunch of stuff from D&R and had them throw in new cuddy U trim, figuring I'd replace the old dry, brown and broken trim at some point. Last night I remembered I had it, and in 10 minutes, I had the old stuff off and the new trim installed. Wow, what a difference. I wish I had put the new trim on the day it arrived. My boat is anything but pristine, and has bumps, dings and filled holes here and there, but the new cuddy trim really makes the cockpit look a lot better. Do yourself a favor, if your old trim looked like mine, or if you don't have any trim at all, spend the $13 and get new trim.

I think that was one of the first things I got from D&R when I got my boat in 2006.
