DS2 Cockpit Drain

Postby Cal » Sun Jul 13, 2014 11:26 pm

I have the old metal housing with two pins to keep the ball from falling out. Only one pin broke off and the ball drops out. Has anyone drilled a small hole and used something like JBWeld to put a new pin in place? Is there a better way to replace a pin.

I would like to avoid the effort to replace the whole drain until the season is over.

I just put a drain plug in mine, been sailing with it that way for years. I purchased a new one, just haven't installed it yet.
