Who out there in Daysailer land has accomplished the modification for a hinged mast? I'd like to know exactly what parts are required to effect the modification/upgrade.

Is Dwyer Masts the place to get the parts?

Dwyer Masts has the parts, or call Rudy at D&R Marine (AKA "O'DAY Parts & Accessaries), he has all the parts and may actually be able to get them at a lower price than direct from Dwyer. You could also call Cape Cod Shipbuilding, they will do the whole installation for less than $150.

I also spoke with Rudy who was very helpful. I was just replacing a bent hinge. You will need the hinge, mast fittings on each side, & the hinge pin. I am trying to decide how high above the cuddy to mount my new hinge, had to replace lower mast section, too many holes. You will need a rivet gun & 3/6 inch rivets. Total mast heighth is 24'3", bottom of cuddy to top of mast, not including fitting. Existing mast easy to set up once I figured it out.
