Rigging Mid Boom Traveller
Posted: Wed Aug 18, 1999 12:00 amI'm looking for advice on rigging a mid-boom traveller. I have a 1967 DS1.
Track length, fore n' aft location, attachments, blocks, control lines led to...? attachment to the boat? What looks good and is functional? Etc.
Some of the traveler installations I've looked at would involve installing inspection ports and through bolting into backing under the seats. (flotation) maybe not a good idea)
How have you done it?
OR are there significant reasons to rig a stern traveller, other than saving the shins and cockpit space.
