Hey guys,

I don't know that its needed, but I've thought about a furler - but they're very expensive. I just saw this on the internet - has anyone seen some variation?

We had a brilliant day yesterday. I'm thinking I don't need a motor anymore. It has broken it's pin everytime I used it anyway. Couldn't believe that I was able to sail back in to the dock without killing anyone! So much fun!

There is an article on how to make a diy jib furler in the July/August issue of Small Craft Advisor.

I built the furler that's listed above, total cost was about $17. It worked ok, I didn't have any problems with it. I ditched it and went back to a simple down haul line and cleat for the jib lines.
