Hey Mike,

I've been meaning to get back to this thread. Thanks for your thoughts on set up. It's very helpful! I don't know what my rig tension is as I do not have a gauge. I do think I have plenty of tension on, though. Under no circumstances do I get slack on the leeward shroud. I'm pulling on tension with a 5:1 tackle and I'm yanking on it pretty hard. I should probably get a gauge. I didn't think to measure the prebend under tension with this mast. I was running about an inch and a half, like you describe, with my old mast. I'll check that this weekend. This mast measures out to be very close in cross-section and wall thickness to the old mast. So it may just be set up...
