Another rigging question

Postby Guest » Sat Aug 03, 2002 10:05 am

First off thanks for all the great info here.
1. I need to install a vang (amongst many other things) but have not found any info as to where the attacment on the boom is best located. Also I could use any suggestions on whether I should use a bail, strap eye or pad eye at the attachment point.
2. I am going to re convert to the mainsheet to the boom end traveler system so I need suggestions on the type of attachment for the block at the boom end as well.
3. I have not come accross any discussion(s) of jib sheeting angle adjustments as of yet. it appears that with the exception of barberhaulers (in and out) the lead angle is fixed (no forward or back). any thoughts???

Thanx again for all the great tips and ideas
