I've got an opportunity to buy a set of used racing sails. They are made by Ullman and are about 5 years old, but were only used for 1 season and have basically sat in the bags since then. I haven't sailed them yet, so I can't say how they look, but I am a bit concerned that I've never heard anyone talk about Ullman sails in Day Sailer circles. I've heard of Cressy, Jotz, and a few others... So are Ullman's competitive..?

I know the name from the loft here in San Diego. Ulman is well known in competitive sailing circles, outside of the Day Sailer world. If you didn't buy them, and they are still around, please let me know. I'm still (casually) looking for some ex-racing sails. If there are others out there plese let me know.
