The centerboard on my DS II is beat to hell. Can anyone tell me what I need to get to fill in chips, gouges and an area where it obviously hit something? As well as a paint for it? Also I have a couple of chips on the cb trunk and coaming big enough to get a pinky finger into exposing the fiberglass beneath as well as some chips along the gunwhale where it met with the dock. I bought some marine epoxy at a local farm store but I'm not sure that's what I need. Finally I have a gouge and multiple scratches on the hull below the waterline. Any ideas would be most helpful. thickend epoxy which you already have, or a product called marine tex, but what you have should be adequate. You can thicken it with talcum to a peanut butter consistency. White gelcoat added to the final coat will get you the color you desire for the finish.
