I have been using some pretty old lines that came with my boat for jib sheets and have now decided that I would like replace them with something newer and color coded. Does anyone know the ideal length for the sheets? Mine are too long as it is and I'm not at the marina to measure them.

Jib sheets are 26 ft, 5/16 dia. All of the rigging measurements are listed under the technical info section .

We just bought a replacement jib sheet and got just over 18 feet... it is plenty long enough. I can't imagine what that extra 4 feet per side is needed for... unless our "jib" is really a plus-sized genoa.
