Where might I obtain new turnbuckles for an older type II daysailer?
Thanks,

Did you write that before or after you checked D&R Marine?

Turnbuckles

D & R is probably the best place to start. I've only seen turnbuckles with stays already swaged on, but its worth a phone call.

BTW, life is good at our end of Scenic, hope your end is good too.

Here's another source:

http://bosunsupplies.com/ProductRigging.cfm

If you click on the pull-down menu on that page, you'll find a whole bunch of turnbuckle types.

I've done business more than once with both of these, as well as D&R. No problems with any of them.
