No idea of why that is in there...odd place for a "vent" isnt it?

Today I machined up a base for 2 swivel cam cleats for the jib and mounted them

Last week I picked up a Lido 14 jib from Minnies Yacht Surplus for $35. Its about 20" short..but I believe it will work well enough

Now the only "major" thing Ive got to do..is figure out the rigging for centerboard down

As you can see..Ive got a pulley at the end of the "down" cable..but dont know what the best hook up is

If you could point me to a link to a couple photos of the method..Id appreciate it. I did a quick browse on the net..no close up photos of how its supposed to be rigged and the manual..laugh..

And the last question..best way to rig the mainsheet? The way I have it now...hell...just scroll through the last batch of photos and tell me the best way. Ive got a mainsheet block from a Hobi 16..ratcheting fiddle block with a cam cleat on it and can hang a fiddle block on the boom if thats the best way.

Thanks!
