New to the Forum and DSII
Posted: Tue Apr 03, 2018 11:16 amHi - new to the forum and to DSII's too - I had a DSI for years, sold it and then wanted to get back to racing them!!! So, found a DSII at a great price, with Proctor mast and new set of sails (and a lot of other odds and ends too - outboard motor and rollerfurler for example!). Anyway, boat looks like it's in pretty good condition. The forward bulkhead "gusset" seperated between the resin and the bulkhead along the deck - looks like the resin just pulled away from poorly prepped gelcoat on the bulkhead face - a little epoxy resin should fix it. Needed a new bailer - so will replace that today. Otherwise, just a good clean up and should be ready to go. Here's a photo...
