Unfortunately, the mast is the Achille's Heel of our beloved daysailers. Bottom line, broke the mast, may as well get a new boat. Why? Shipping! A new mast costs about a grand, but to ship it, it needs to be crated and then shipped commercial freight (aka an 18-wheeler truck), because it's both long and fragile. That costs about another grand. You are way better off buying another boat and cannibalizing. The good news is that any mast from any DS (1,2 or 3) will fit any other DS.
