Hi Marty,
Here are a couple posts from this site. Haven’t seen to much other info on the Discoverer.
Do you have some info and pics of yours ? Brad

Hello Gents,
I just acquired a Discoverer and was unsure of exactly what I had until browsing the posts today. Hull is sound, cockpit deck is a bit soft but not too bad. I have sails that that appear serviceable and the hull ID is #1528. There is interesting structure inside the cutty and I hope to post some pics soon; it appears to be an elevated portion of the deck that lends lateral support to the CB box and creates two storage bins under a v-berth. Forward flotation is fore of the bins. I think it will be a great boat when done.
Got Pics up

OK, I've reduced and posted some pre-rehab photos of my discoverer. All I've done is pressure washed the mold and mildew off of her and pulled her off of a poorly constructed trailer. Check out the funky structure in the cutty. I kind-of like it; lots of CB support, storage bins and v-berth.

I haven’t seen the Discoverer in person but it does appear to be a soundly built craft. My DSI is used primarily for cruising and I may incorporate some of the storage designs from your boat to increase the covered storage in mine. Brad
