Rigging DS III for a hoist

Postby TonyCresswell » Tue Jun 10, 2014 4:27 pm

Looking for recommendations for safe ways to rig a DS III for launch by hoist, including attachment points, hardware, use of existing chain plates, cleats, etc. Thanks for your help.

I just asked the same question over in the DS II area. I suspect whatever works for one will work for the other. Submit a response (any response), and the phpBB computer will ping you if anyone has an answer (that's what I'm doing here.)

I posted an answer in the DSII section. It can be done easily with automotive tow straps and lines from the fore and aft cleats to keep the straps where you want them.
