DS1 Centerboard Needed

Searching for a used DS1 centerboard. I don't need the lever or other hardware, as those fell into the boat....

Sorry to hear it! But it the centerboard is indeed salvageable and the hull is not, I'd be most interested. My CB worked itself loose while on a mooring, and sank to the bottom.

How urgent is the need?
I live near Ithaca and there are a lot of students
going to NYC area frequently
I come down to see NYC family every few weeks

It is not urgent - I'm going to do some other work on the boat over the winter, so won't really need the centerboard until Spring. If we could figure something out any time in the next couple of months, that would be fantastic!

Well, now that you ask... I could sure use a mainsail! And spreaders. And cam cleats. And swivel jammer or any blocks that are functional. Mine is an old DS1, and all the hardware is pretty worn down. There is not a single part that couldn't be upgraded. Literally, anything that is easy to strip I could probably use, including a cover, if you have one.
