DAY SAILER ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP
SEPTEMBER 17-18 2005
SEVERN SAILING ASSOCIATION
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

1. RULES
1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing and the Day Sailer Association rules, except as any of these rules are changed by the Sailing Instructions or any appendices to the Sailing Instructions.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
2.1 This regatta is open to all Day Sailer Association members.

3. ENTRY FEE
3.1 The Entry Fee is $25 and includes a Saturday night dinner at Ken and Jackie Seamon’s home, 42 Harness Creek View Court, Annapolis, Maryland 21403 – telephone 410-990-1788.

4. SCHEDULE
Saturday, September 17
Registration and Breakfast 0800-0930
Skippers Meeting 0930
Warning signal for first race 1100
Followed by up to two more races
Dinner 1800-2100 at Ken and Jackie Seamon’s home

Sunday, September 18
Warning signal for first race 1000
Followed by up to one more race
Followed by awards

5. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 Sailing instructions will be available at registration.

6. SCORING & AWARDS
6.1 Prizes will be awarded for the top five finishers.
6.2 The overall winner will be the 2005 Atlantic Coast Champion.

10. DIRECTIONS
10.1 US Route 50 to Exit 24, Rowe Blvd (MD 70). Bear right onto Rowe Boulvard Cross Weems Creek and College Creek. Continue on Rowe Boulvard as it bears right after College Creek. At Church Circle you must turn right - continue about 180 degrees around Church Circle to Duke of Gloucester Street - the Maryland Inn is on the corner of that intersection - turn right. Follow Duke of Gloucester Street and turn right at end. Cross Spa Creek Bridge and take the first left onto Severn Ave (Shell Station). Go 5 blocks and turn left onto First Street. SSA is at the end of the street on the right.
