Yikes! We sail past that buoy on longer days. Supposed to get windier this afternoon. News said good day to ride the ferry just to see.

Nice!

Always good if you have a buoy or other local weather station to get accurate local conditions. Over the years I've assembled a number of links for my favorite places to get the latest actual data for various places I sail in.

Speaking of ferries. Some ferry systems post their wind speed measurements. Great way to get actual readings across their entire route.
