DAYSAILERS IN nh

Postby Guest » Fri Jun 25, 2004 5:22 pm

I am interested in finding out if anyone has a DS II in or around Portsmouth, NH.

I would really like to look at how the boat is rigged for the centerboard raising and lowering via the cable and rope routing. Also how the jib sheets are secured in the cockpit along with the centerboard cleating on the side of the centerboard trunk. Should there be some rubber gasket surrounding the up C/B cable as it exits the forward edge of the C/B trunk? Does the smaller drain hole on the outside bottom of the transom have a plug that seals this hole or should it reamin open?

Thanks for any information

Hi, If you have any interest in driving up to Lake Winni, I have a 1985 DS II here that you are free to look over for info. Right now it is still in my drive but should be down at Ames Farms on Rt 11 within the next 2 weeks. You are most welcome to stop by. Send me an email and we can set something up!
