Japanese Day Sailers

I have recently been in contact with a Japanese owner of a Day Sailer. He said it was imported long ago. He told me the hull number is 24009 and the sail is 4466.

The 4466 would seem to fit the 1-? (<4522) range on our hull number index for an early Day Sailer I. Is that the proper number for him to put on the sail? (He currently has no sails).

I think that would be fine. The potential of having another DS with the same number in Japan is little. Bob Damon
