For Sale in Portland Oregon

Postby PDuckX » Fri Sep 02, 2005 4:55 pm

There is a Daysailer for Sale on craigslist in Portland Oregon. Maybe someone knows someone in town that may be interested. We are a growing fleet and would love to get a few more.
I'm not sure if it is a DS I or II.

Here is the ad.

DS I or II, what's your impression?

Never tried marketing used stuff via impresionist painting. Maybe I'll try it with our washer/dryer set.

All kidding aside, if anyone knows anyone interested in the DaySailer, and who may be living in the area of Portland, OR, this is a great deal!

Yeah, I thought that was an interesting marketing method.

I contacted the artist and he gave me permission to post the image on the website.

(the painting is sold, but the boat is still available as far as I know)

Ad says "double hull" and the painting would indicate it is probably a DS II. I hope the buyer wants to sail with us so I won't be the only one with a DS II.

Hey, if he just wants to get rid of it, he can always donate it to the Sea Scouts for a tax deduction and good Karma points.
