Eugene/Portland Sailors

Hey all:

My wife and I have some time at the end of July for a short Mom-Dad vacation (that is, a non-teen event.) I have manged to convince her that we should go somewhere with the sailboat I bought! She's quick on the jib sheet and enjoys being on the water, so this actually makes sense.

After reading about all the fun you guys in Eugene, OR are having down there, I was wondering if someone could clue me in on general wind conditions and weather for the mid-end of July. I live in Spokane, and we could visit relatives in Portland on the way down ( as well as maybe put in at the DS fleet club there, too.) It might make a really nice trip to go down and do some sailing with some of you Oregon tars.

Beer's on me, of course.
