I think you should, definitely. Did they give a link?

Ah. Should have read the Quarterly, then.

Thanks for the note - I'll look for an envelope then.

BTW, this issue of the DSQ has a great article in it, on the Texas 200. After seeing it, and deciding I didn't have enough time to read at that moment, I put the Quarterly on my "to be read when more time is available" pile.

Membership usually runs on the calendar year, IIRC.
No need to wait for the form to show up, you can just download it here:

Brooks will be more than happy to sign you up.

I want to thank Bob for suggesting I write the Texas 200 article and sending it to the right person at the Day Sailer Quaterly. I thought my boat was fairly fast on the Texas 200. Then I raced against Bob and several other DS1's in the Wurstfest Regatta in November. My DS2 did very poorly against them. I guess I'm better suited to distance events, although I plan on working on my boat to perform better at the Wurstfest Regatta next November. I may still not match them, but I hope to do better.

OK, nuff said, message to self...
1. go find envelope,
2. go find checkbook
3. repeat as necessary until task complete

Thanks

It only took me two months to accomplish the above 3 steps (in proper sequence no less...) so "the checks in the mail"... now if I could only find that 2008 tax return I keep forgetting to file... and I suppose theres one or two more after that that I should get around to as well...

I got my membership card a few days ago, along with a 2012 transom decal - actually, two of them. Pretty cool.
