Yeah, me too. Boatloads of helpful advice, benefiting from other people's experience, and a pleasant way to get through the periods between sailing adventures.

Happy Thanksgiving,
Daysailer.org is very helpful to me. I bought an 83 DSII last spring, and started learning to sail at 53 years old in the Richmond, VA area. Had lots of fun, and am learning from lots of mistakes. Can't wait for spring 2013 so my wife and I can try new jib downhaul line. Want to get a small outboard motor or saltwater trolling motor to make it easier to leave and return to the boat ramp at West Point and Lake Chesdin (where we sailed).

Thanks for all the information and replies to my questions. This is a wonderful forum.
