Boat yard storage in Massachusetts

Postby BreezingUp » Mon Mar 26, 2018 12:21 am

Does anyone know of a boat yard in Massachusetts on the ocean, or a harbor, where one can keep a Daysailer with the mast up and launch it from a boat ramp? I know there are several clubs on lakes where you can do this, but I am interested in sailing in places like Salem Harbor. My mast has a tabernacle, so keeping it on a mooring is not recommended.
Thanks.

Did you ever find a place? I would think there would be many. I have spoke with a couple yards up in NH and Maine but can't see the expense. Salem is a nice area and I would like to get down there sometime. Why is there a conflict with tabernacles and moorings?
I see plenty of empty moorings in the Portsmouth area and would love to look into one.
