BRRRR! That's the kind of weather to stay inside, preferably in an Irish pub with your hands wrapped around a nice pint:

This charming pub (The Bullman) is on the Scilly Walk in Kinsale, County Cork. I spent an entire afternoon making Monty Python Ministry jokes, taking photos, and generally annoying my wife. Was taking a well-earned break when this beauty sailed by. I think she's an Etchells (my all-time favorite racing MACHINE), but not sure. Just know that I was firmly attached to a pint of Murphy's but wishing I was out there sailing her!

I like how it is framed by the window frames

To sail, all you really need is some wind, something to catch the wind, and something that floats:

and when sailing gets to be same-old same-old, you can always fly:

at one point there maybe 30 of these guys in the smallish space inside the breakwater, and somehow they never crashed into any boats or each other. They were really moving. The small white lines on the water's surface are their wakes.

Tom's photo captures both the outdoors and the cozy indoors at the same time. Very nice.

Very nice. Even when you are out sailing, it feels like you are standing still near one of these.

These reflections almost look like eyes. Their black outline is the distorted image of a bridge, I think. Last weekend, near sunset.
