Is the mast datum at the top of the cuddy on DSII?

Yes, mast datum is the same for the DSII as the DSI, at the opening of the mast partner on top of the cuddy, excluding the rounded lip.

Bob, the "excluding the rounded lip" part confuses me a bit. If I were to lay a straight edge on top of the mast partner opening on top of the cuddy and mark a line along the bottom of the straight edge, is that the top of the datum?

Thanks!

I think what you are saying is correct. The level of the base of the rounded lip is the height for mast datum. Some boats do not have the lip at the partner opening.
