carpeted bunkers that run the length of the trailer and will support the hull from a point approx. even with the front of the centerboard trunk aft to approx. 3 feet from the stern. Take a look at the picture of the DS on its trailer on this discussion group's home/main page.
My personal opinion from over 25 yrs. of pulling boats around is that a galvanized trailer is worth the money. Wash and go. Never have to repaint or deal with rusting out.
