DS1 Turnbuckle

Postby Buster » Fri May 17, 2019 9:38 am

I need a knurled nut for my DS1 turnbuckle. It's a nominal 3/4" nut which engages the swage fitting. Does anyone know if this nut is available for purchase or if the entire turnbuckle can be purchased?

Stays with turnbuckles like this are sold by D&R Marine.

You could contact them.

Depending on the age of your rigging, replacing all three stays would not be an unreasonable precaution.

You could try Annapolis Performance Sailing, apsltd.com or Rig-Rite in Rhode Island

APS does stock a broad selection of sailing hardware and I also like to shop local outlets when I can. What's special about DR marine is that they are a source of otherwise hard-to-find parts specific to the DS (as well as ever patient and knowledgeable about O'Day boats). A great resource.
