Daysailer 2

Postby NONcents » Thu Sep 16, 2004 10:41 pm

Hello my name is Mark. I have a daysailer II and my centerboard is split starboard side 3/4 of the way down 1" from forward side. I have started to repair it and noticed a small hole in the side. I also noticed the centerboard might be hollow. Is there some lead pellets that might have escaped like some other small boats have? I'm repairing it with West Sysem to repair it. Do I need to add some weight? PLEASE if somebody knows let me know! I wanna go sailing... now! The weather is great here in Corpus Christi! Thanks! Markus Dundee

I recalled a similar question from a year or so ago. Check out the following discussion from Repair and Improvement, 3/11/03:

Hope this helps and you can get out there ASAP.
