What do you guys use to get the kick up rudder back down once it's kicked up? My Precision 23 has a line on the forward part of the rudder that runs up through the tiller. Anyone rig a line on these?

I bend over the transom and push it down and tighten the wingnut. I love small boats.

I too had a line that ran from the forward part of the rudder so that a yank on the cord brought the rudder down. Instead of line however, I used a bungee cord. At the top end I use a clam cleat.

Roger,
Did you drill a hole in the rudder blade? How did you attach the bungee to the blade?
TIA,
John
