Hi Dave
On the Mariner I used a Harken Little Fiddle Block with becket. On the boom is a Harken Little Fiddle Block that came with the boat and was originally mounted on the base. I don't think harken still makes either. I found mine on EBay.
I purchased the Daysailer last fall and it came with the setup you see in the picture. I only added the hiking straps. I'm not sure why the jib track was mounted sloping down, but everything seems to work well for me. As far as the fairleads are concerned, they seem to keep the jib sheets in line with the cam cleats.
I just installed a line console under the center of the cuddy with four cam cleats to replace the four jam cleats mounted on the front edge of the cuddy. Easier for my crew to identify lines plus the cams work better than jams.
As I get through this first season, I'm sure I will be making more changes.
