I haven't had it done, but after hanging around sailing forums for the last three years, and reading about their services, I've learned that most customers are happy with the process. There are some reports from customers who send in their sails and stuff is done that wasn't asked for, and they were charged more than the quote, and that the company was difficult to deal with.

Only hearsay, not my experience, etc. etc. But I've heard no one complain about the condition of the sails or felt that it didn't help old sails for at least a few more years.

I should add that the complaint comments I read had to do with miscommunicated assumptions. I think if you ask a lot of questions and discuss things beforehand (as with any service) you'd be okay. I recall it was something along the lines of the company charged the customer for a repair they felt was necessary in order to do the reconditioning, and considered it part of the reconditioning, but the customer thought it was unnecessary, and felt the company was trying to tack on extra charges, bla bla bla.

Nowhere did anyone feel that this company is a fly-by-night scam outfit.

I suggest you google search the company, maybe under google groups, and find some more first-hand experiences.
